Staged.

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 14 August 2026

These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Staged. platform. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these terms.

Agreement to Terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you ("you", "your", or "User") and Staged. ("we", "us", "our", or "Staged.") governing your access to and use of the Staged. platform, website, and services (collectively, the "Service").

By registering an account, logging in, or otherwise using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the platform. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

The Service

Staged. is a subscription-based software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform designed for home stagers, real estate agents, and related property professionals. The Service provides tools to manage staging projects from listing to sale, including:

Project management with status tracking (Not Started, In Progress, Photo-Ready, Listed), milestone timelines, and client share links; budget management with room-by-room line items, estimated and actual cost tracking, approval workflows, and invoice generation; photo galleries for before-and-after documentation; task checklists; team workspaces with granular member permissions; and client management.

The Service is intended for business use by professionals involved in property staging and real estate. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features of the Service at any time, and we will use reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes.

Account Eligibility & Registration

To use the Service, you must be at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. By registering an account, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide during registration is accurate and complete.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must not share your password or allow others to access your account, except through the platform's built-in team member and collaborator invitation features.

When you create an account, you will select a professional role (such as Agent, Stylist, or Freelancer) that helps us tailor your onboarding experience. You may update this information in your account settings at any time.

Plans, Pricing & Billing

Staged. offers the following subscription plans:

Beginner: Designed for solo stagers starting out, with a set number of active projects and a single user seat.

Pro: For established solo professionals, with additional project capacity and a single user seat.

Team: For growing staging businesses, with higher project capacity and multiple user seats for team collaboration.

Add-ons: If you need more capacity, you can purchase additional project slots or extra user seats as add-ons to any plan. These add-ons are billed alongside your subscription and can be managed through your account settings.

Subscription fees are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on your selected billing cycle) through Stripe, our payment processor. All fees are in Australian dollars (AUD) unless otherwise stated and are inclusive of GST where applicable. Prices may change; we will provide notice of any pricing changes before they take effect, and you will have the opportunity to cancel before the new pricing applies.

Free Trial

Staged. offers a 7-day free trial on all subscription plans, allowing you to explore the platform's features before any charges apply. No payment is required to begin your free trial.

During the trial period, you have full access to the features of your selected plan. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin and your chosen payment method will be charged for the first billing period. You can cancel your trial at any time during the 7-day period at no cost.

Cancellation & Account Management

You may cancel your subscription or manage your account at any time through the platform's settings. The following options are available:

Pausing your subscription: You can pause your subscription, which temporarily restricts access to the platform's core features while retaining all of your data. Your projects, budgets, photos, and team configuration are preserved and can be fully restored when you resume your subscription. Team members linked to your account will also have their access paused. You will not be billed while paused.

Cancelling during a free trial: If you cancel before your 7-day trial ends, no charges will be applied and your trial will end. You will lose access to the platform at the end of the trial period.

Cancelling a paid subscription: If you cancel a paid subscription, your access continues until the end of your current billing period. After that, your subscription will not renew and you will lose access to the platform unless you resubscribe.

Deleting your account: You can permanently delete your account through the platform's settings. This cancels any active subscription, removes your user profile, and deletes your projects, budgets, invoices, photos, tasks, and client records. This action is irreversible — once your data is deleted, it cannot be recovered. If you are a team owner, deleting your account also removes access for all team members associated with your account.

We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law.

Your Content & Data Ownership

You retain all ownership rights to the content you create and upload to the Service, including project data, budget information, task descriptions, invoice details, client information, and uploaded photos and files ("Your Content"). Staged. does not claim ownership of Your Content.

By using the Service, you grant Staged. a limited licence to host, store, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Service to you and your authorised collaborators and team members. This licence terminates when you delete your account or remove the relevant content from the platform.

You are responsible for ensuring that Your Content does not violate any applicable laws or third-party rights, including intellectual property rights, privacy rights, and confidentiality obligations.

Roles, Permissions & Collaboration

Staged. provides tools that allow account owners to control access to their projects and data. The Service supports several roles and permission configurations:

Account owners have full control over their workspace, including managing projects, budgets, invoices, clients, team members, and subscription settings.

Team members can be invited to join a team workspace with configurable permissions, such as the ability to view budgets, add budget items, view invoices, manage clients, or invite additional collaborators.

Collaborators can be invited to specific projects with permissions controlling their ability to view budgets, add budget items, view invoices, and add invoices.

Staged. provides these permission tools to help you control who can access your data. However, Staged. is not responsible for how you choose to configure these permissions, or for any disputes that arise between users — including disputes over collaborator compensation, budget approvals, project ownership, or the sharing of information within a team. You are solely responsible for managing your business relationships and agreements with collaborators, team members, and clients.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.

Attempt to gain unauthorised access to restricted or administrative areas of the platform, other users' accounts, or the underlying systems and infrastructure of the Service.

Upload, store, or transmit content that is illegal, infringing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable, including content that violates intellectual property rights or privacy laws.

Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including introducing viruses, malware, or other malicious code; overloading the platform's servers; or attempting to reverse engineer or circumvent security measures.

Use the Service to send unsolicited communications, spam, or promotional material without consent.

Misrepresent your identity or affiliation, or falsely imply a relationship with Staged. or any other person or organisation.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any user who violates these acceptable use requirements.

Intellectual Property

The Staged. platform, including its software, design, branding, features, and documentation, is owned by Staged. and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in the Service except for the limited right to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our prior written consent. Feedback or suggestions you provide about the Service may be used by us without any obligation of compensation.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Staged. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service — whether based on contract, tort (including negligence), or any other legal theory.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Staged. in the three (3) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or, if you have not made any payments, one hundred Australian dollars (AUD $100).

These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. While we strive to provide a reliable and well-functioning platform, we do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will meet your specific requirements or that the results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable.

You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of important data. While we take measures to protect your data, we recommend that you periodically export critical information for your own records.

Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the platform's settings. Upon deletion, your subscription will be cancelled and your data will be removed as described in the Cancellation & Account Management section.

Staged. reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service if you violate these Terms, fail to pay subscription fees when due, or engage in conduct that we reasonably believe is harmful to the Service, other users, or third parties. Where practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue before terminating your account, except in cases of serious or repeated violations.

Upon termination, all licences granted to you under these Terms will cease, and you must stop using the Service. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including those relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law — will remain in effect.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia.
